Trever
Unsatisfactory
All started off very well, then my cats were taken to the vet and 1 cat required an operation, Kim only provided us with a rand amount and refuses to provide us with a actual invoice from the vet for the consultation and operation, this was a bit dodgy for me!!

Sadly, Trevor has deigned to omit the full facts of their experience at my cattery: The cats were left behind in a vacant house while Trevor and his wife semigrated to Cape Town. A "friend / domestic " was meant to care for them, but failed to secure the cats (this is what happens when you leave cats , or any pet for that matter, unattended). I expended a great deal of my own time travelling to Boksburg to retrieve the cats, trapping them until I had retrieved them all. Trevor's 'concern' for the cat's welfare was noticeably absent during this stressful and traumatic time. The cats had no vaccination history , one of the cats had to be treated for a hernia. The condition of all three cats was poor at best. Trevor and his wife thought they could 'conveniently' not pay for the final month of their cat's boarding. Only once they were handed over for debt collection did they finally pay the final settlement amount. All payment terms are very clearly stated on my contract - which every client has to acknowledge and sign. The cat's vaccination cards, and travel arrgts - were withheld until the final settlement payment including recovering attorney's fees had been made in full. Sadly, there are far too many people who think they can abuse the goodwill of cattery owners for their own benefit or use catteries as a dumping ground so as not to take financial responsibility for their cats. This is expecially true for folk who emmigrate or who are moving and I will NOT tolerate it. If you can afford to emmigrate or relocate - then you can afford the financial implications of including your pets in your move and take them with you! Kim
